Jeff Glover seminar!

Time to post another blog entry!

Attented to the Jeff Glover seminar yesterday at Tiger! It was easily the most astounding seminar I’ve ever been to! I would have been fine with just sitting there for two hours watching Jeff do sick moves! He showed so many moves so I couldnt keep track of them all. Have probably forgotten half of the moves already even with notes! Hopefully I can get some guys together for open mat on Saturday and with our forces combined we can figure out most of the moves! :)

In the end Jeff showed us a choke that he called “The 7 year old choke”.  He told us this story about one kid in his class that when playing around caught Jeff in this choke hold. And Jeff couldnt for the life of him get out of it. The kid didnt know what a “tap” was so he didnt release when Jeff tapped. So in the end Jeff had to take one of the kids fingers and bend it backwards! lol Now he has started implementing it into his game! Thats the birth of “The 7 year old choke”. It was funny as hell to listen to :P   Actually caught a guy in the choke later that evening during the BJJ! Felt very satisfying! :D

In training news, feels like i’ve been slacking of a lot the past 2 weeks. Had food poisoning for a couple of days last week so that disrupted my training, then it was Songkran two days of alcoholic beverages. Probably ruined 1 month of training, but it was all worth it! And then there was also the tsunami warnings! So the gym canceled some classes. But have done atleast 2 sessions a day, but in my weird world thats not good enough. I feel bad for “just” doing two sessions a day. lol!  Havnt been doing the morning classes in a while either, having  hard time getting up in the morning. My bed is so comfy! Have to start kicking myself out of bed!
