Failure is not an option!

“Strength does not come from winning. Your struggles develop your strengths. When you go through hardships and decide not to surrender, that is strength.”

Arnold Schwarzenegger

While Arnold is not my favorite person in the world, this is an amazing quote. Most people turn and run from hardship not realizing they are stunting their personal growth. Our hardships mold us as people and prepare us to take on future challenges. My setbacks increase my hunger. They show me the areas that I need to improve and give me the motivation to raise my level.

We cannot let our shortcomings deter us from our goals. We must always keep our eyes on the finish line. As long as we stay focused nothing can derail us. While some things may slow us down, we must always continue to progress. Thomas Edison failed over 10,000 times on his way to inventing the light bulb. Every failure was a learning experience that helped him gain the knowledge needed to reach his goal. If Edison had given up the world would be a dark place.

The only thing that can stop us from reaching our goals is ourselves. We can blame no one for our failures. When we surrender and let our doubts and fears win, the failure is ours. So, what does it take to win? Dedication and an unwavering belief in yourself is the key to success. “I quit” and “I give up” are not in a successful persons vocabulary. If you have set a goal and you are struggling toward the achievement of that goal, you are already a success.

I will achieve my goals or I will die fighting to attain them!!! This is the only way that I know to live.
