Rafael ‘Negao’ Lopes Pinto is a 29-year-old professional Muay Thai and Mixed Martial Arts fighter based out of Phuket, Thailand. Lopes is a native of Sao Paulo, Brazil and fights out of Tiger Muay Thai and MMA Training Camp Phuket, Thailand.

Having amassed a professional Muay Thai record of 18-4, Lopes is known in Thailand as a brutal fighter with sharp technique and quick reflexes. He has taken on far more experienced fighters, some with over 300 fights under the belts, and gone the distance with the best of them. The Brazilian is also a brown belt in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu under Lattuf Caldeira in Brazil, having been a state champion in Pernambuco, Brazil. Lopes is also an expert in the Brazilian art of Capoeira.

In MMA, Lopes holds an unbeaten record of 4-0.He has competed around the world, notably in Brazilian based promotion Vale Tudo where he made his debut in 2006. He has also fought in China with an eye to compete in the near-future.
